Walk notes(1).TBC

Reaching the Cromer Road at Metton you have a choice. You can turn right, towards town, along the route as shown. Until the outskirts, this is in-road walking (albeit a fairly quiet lane) through rather featureless arable land. Alternatively, continue straight on. After 1½ miles cross the NT estate at Felbrigg and emerge near the roundabout on the A148. Thereafter, use the footway along the 148 for the remainder of the walk. That option is 300 metres longer, navigationally more complicated and harder on legs that may be tiring. The choice may come down to conditions underfoot.
